Through the village, over the hump and through the woods is Busy B's kennel, located northwest of Pittsburgh in Darlington, PA.
Bob and Birdie Nelson, together since 1979, will greet you at their home and proudly show you their Spinoni that live and travel with them.
In 1998, they chose the Spinone for its easy-going, loving temperament, its hunting ability
and style, and its family adaptability.
They began their breeding program in 2001 with the mating of Mariah and Rufus.
Their puppies are whelped in their kitchen and live in their home with the rest of the dogs until
placed with their new families. They are never left without human supervision even at night!
Bob and Birdie's biggest hope is to place their puppies in a similar environment to their own.
OUR PLAN
This is our plan for breeding quality Busy B's Spinoni:
- Work diligently to keep the hunting instinct and drive
- Maintain the AKC conformation standard of the Spinoni
- Breed from lines that are clear of diseases and defects
- Place our pups in homes that will participate in NAVHDA and AKC events
By taking these steps Busy B's will be able to continue breeding quality Spinoni Italiani
